Tailored Fitness Move: T Push Up
To do a T Push Up, start in a normal push up position. Tight core and a straight line from the ankles to the head. Perform a regular push up. After performing each repetition, transfer all of your weight to one hand and rotate your body, reaching up and behind you with the oposite hand. Keep both feet on the floor. At this point, you will have one hand on the floor and the other hand in a direct line with it, reaching up and behind you. The arms remain in a straight line so your body forms a T shape.
A progression for the T push up would be to lift your foot off the floor at the end of each rep, so you make an X shape with your arms and legs. You can also hold hex-shaped dumbells in your hands to increase the intensity.
